Pamela Badjogo - Ghana

Pamela Badjogo grew up in Libreville, Gabon. She went on to study biology and also performed as a background singer. In 2005, she received a scholarship for her study project in Mali. She moved to Bamako to continue her studies in biology. In Bamako, she offers her services as a choral singer and works at the Bogolan studio. She is taken under the wing of Cheick Tidiane Seck, the former keyboard player of 'Les Ambassadeurs'. She sings for artists such as Salif Keita, Oumou Sangaré, among others. In 2015, she launched her solo career with the single Bô from her first album 'Mes Couleurs'. After a period back in Gabon, she moved to France and worked on a musical project, a fusion between jazz and world music. After a second album 'Kaba', she recently released her third album Yieh. Her style is a vibrant cocktail of afro-pop, Bantu-style highlife and afrobeat.
